Abstract: It’s important in today’s society to not only communicate properly within organizations, but communicate what is happening internally to external stakeholders, too. However, it starts with understanding who your stakeholders are, what they want to know, and how to effectively share information in our fast-paced, nonstop, oversaturated information world. This seminar will offer participants a way to understand who internal and external stakeholders are, how to identify and share messages internally and how to present science information in a digital space. An emphasis will be placed on providing tips to create key messages, identify key internal “faces” and external influencers and develop external platforms and content to share information and stories.
