Education: B.S., Meteorology, Penn State University, pursuing Ph.D. in atmospheric sciences at Howard University.

Research: Researching winter time, oceanic, extratropical cyclones over the Atlantic Ocean. Want to see how the wind fields in the storms evolve and more specifically, looking at the storms that reach hurricane force and why some storms do and don’t. Also, investigating bent-back troughs that form in the more powerful storms and trying to see how and why they develop and where the air that moves through them originates from in the storm.

Dr. Albright  works at Systems Research Group, and is a research meteorologist at NOAA’s National Centers for Environmental Predication, Weather Prediction Center in the hydrometeorological testbed.
